Some  things you can expect at this year’s event

Ø   Children’s Concert:

  • Popular children’s entertainer Brian Morcombe will entertain children and adults with his musical  talents and will engage all with his unique performance.  To learn more about Brian and his shows visit his website:  www.musicwithbrian.com

Ø   Silent Auction:

  • This will be our first ‘Silent Auction’ at this event and will be held inside our arena.

 Ø   Face-Painting:

  •  Our talented ‘face-painters’ will once again offer their expert skills in ‘making up’ children & adults alike.  Drop by and have some fun.

 Ø   Bake Table

  •  Our ‘gigantic bake table’ was a resounding success last year.  This year there will be even more delicious wares to choose from and our prices can’t be beat.  These ‘fresh baked’ goods are packaged and are a delightful treat.  Give mom a day-off and buy some for Sunday’s dessert.

 Ø   Wagon Rides:

  • Visitors will be invited to take a wagon ride with our newly acquired “Canadian” horse team "Jet & Logan".  Teresa Marcy will be our ‘wagon master’.

 Ø   BBQ/Corn Roast:

  • A delicious BBQ and corn roast will begin at noon.  The sweet corn is provided by “Herrle’s” Country Market (St. Agatha, ON).  People as far away as Burlington remarked they would return to our event for the corn alone.  Bagged corn will be available for those wishing to take some home.

  •  Lunch Tickets Available at $6.00 for Family Day Participants – Includes beverage

 Ø   Raffle:  Book of 5 for $15.00  -OR- $5.00/ticket.

  •       This year’s raffle features 4 great prizes.

  •  1st Prize – Queen Size Reversible Quilt

  •       2nd Prize – Gas BBQ

  •       3rd Prize – Household Gift Basket –Value:  $100

  •       4th Prize – Children’s Gift Basket – Value:  $100

  • Tickets are available at the Sunrise office and will be sold on event day.

 Ø   Door Prizes:

  •  Our door prizes are exceptional.  Last year saw people lining up to buy tickets.  All prizes are displayed on tables inside the arena.  Winner must be present to claim their prize.

v     NOTE:  Those people attending this year’s event will be encouraged to fill out a COMMENT CARD.  The ‘feedback’ you provide is very important to us – we want to know what you liked and where you feel we could improve.  Cards to be dropped in a box at our ‘Ticket Sales Table’ in the arena.  A ticket will be drawn from the returned comment cards and a prize will be awarded (winner must be present at time of draw).
