What to Bring
  • Sturdy shoes or boots (sandals are not permitted).  On wet or muddy days, we encourage you to bring indoor shoes to change into.
  • Warm clothes and/or rain gear if necessary.  Please remember that it is always colder on the farm than in the city, and part of each visit will be spent outdoors and in the barn.
  • For Riding Day only:  comfortable pants (not jeans) and sturdy shoes or boots with a separate heel (ASTM approved safety helmets will be provided)

Snacks and juice are provided by Sunrise

Registration Procedure
Payments may be made by cash, cheque (payable to Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre), VISA or Mastercard.

All registrations are on a first come, first served basis. This program is very popular, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.  Payment must accompany registration form to confirm a space in the program.

Medical Referrals
Please note that, for their own safety, children with physical disabilities will be required to have a Medical Referral Form completed by their physician prior to participating in the riding aspect of the “Little Breeches” Program.

A Personal Profile Form will be provided to all parents of children with special needs.  This enables us to learn more about your child's specific skills and needs, ensuring a positive, enriching program for all participants.

Please contact Joan Cullen at (519) 837-0558 ext 21 for a copy of Sunrise’s Medical Referral Form or Personal Profile Form.
