Camp Sunrise

8:45 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Campers may be dropped off at 8:00 a.m. but NOT before and must be picked up before 5:00 p.m. Late charges apply after 5:00 p.m. $5 for every 10 minutes late.

Camp Sunrise
General Information

Sunrise offers a variety of fully integrated day camp programs for children with and without special needs. Our quality structured programs and innovative activities are tailored to meet the needs of campers of all ages and abilities.

The small size of each camp and high ratio of leaders creates a welcoming family atmosphere. Teamwork and respect are always emphasized and specific sessions are designated as interdenominational Christian Camps.

Sunrise is located on a 102-acre farm in Puslinch Township, less than 15 minutes from both Guelph and Cambridge, and easily accessible from the 401.

Camp Sunrise Staff

Low ratio counselors to children (1:6)

All instructors are certified through the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association and Equine Canada

All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR

All swimming activities supervised by certified lifeguards

Camp programs directed by a certified teacher

ASTM approved helmets are provided for riding activities

The Camp Director meets new campers with special needs prior to camp

Camp Sunrise
Programs

RIDING DAY CAMP
An exciting day camp for children aged 8-Teens* that includes daily riding lessons.

FARM DISCOVERY DAY CAMP
A fun-filled day camp, with an animals and nature theme, for children aged 5 to 7*.

LEADER-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM
An innovative summer leadership training program for youth aged 13 to 16*.

*Older children will be considered, cognitive age being taken into account.
